January 2012

We wish all our clients and suppliers a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

As can be seen on our new Logo – Penvaan Feeds has had a revamp and fresh approach, to bring you even better service.

Beef and Sheep:

The need for area specific rations for cattle and beef has been addressed by us. We have launched a new series of licks, taking into consideration the special soils, pastures and weather conditions of an area. The more specific we can be, the better the performance of your animals and the more cost effective are the licks. We now offer:

A)  Ingogo Summer and Winter licks

B)  EG Beef and Sheep Licks (East Griqualand)

C)  Zululand Beef and Sheep Licks

All the above have been tested extensively and have proven to be real winners.

Consulting:

In addition to our nutritional consultants from Spesfeed and IQ Nutrition, we now also have the services of Mr Lubbe Jacobs, who is a specialist on Beef Nutrition and feedlots. We welcome him to our team and look forward to exciting new developments in this field.

Depots:

Two new Penvaan Feeds Depots have opened recently. Piet Retief Depot opened its doors during November 2011. The owner, Mr Piet de Lange and his team are offering personal service to our local clients. In addition to selling Penvaan Feeds products they also offer Farmpure Meats and Farmpure Chicken Products to the public.

E.G. Vets in Kokstad have also opened a new Penvaan Feeds Franchise. Although the Penvaan Feeds licks have been used in the area for some time, the farmers can now enjoy all the benefits of a local store. We wish Dr Dave Clowes and Dr Craigh all the best with the new venture. The Feed Factory team in collaboration with the experienced local veterinarians and our nutritionists will continually monitor and improve herd health and production by having a team approach to the local challenge.

Pongola Depot is now under the new leadership of a husband and wife team, Freddie and Annemarie Schenk. Their experience in farming and customer service will be a great advantage to the community. Mona Joubert has taken over Melmoth Depot as the new manager as from 1 December 2011. As she grew up in the area, she knows the circumstances and local farmer’s requirements which will be of great benefit to all our clients and suppliers.

Best wishes from the Penvaan team.

“Always Better”
